Victim Removed, Man Barricaded Inside Fairfax County Home After Domestic Incident (Developing)

Some residents have been advised to shelter in place in Fairfax County as police work to resolve a barricade situation on Friday afternoon.

At around 12:15 p.m. on Friday, Dec. 1, officers from the Fairfax County Police Department responded to the 8100 block of McCauley Way in Lorton, where a man was refusing to leave an area home following a domestic incident.

Police say that the victim has been removed from the residence, but the standoff was ongoing as the clock approached 1 p.m. on Friday.

The nature of the domestic incident was not released.
